How many races does Greater Latrobe Parks & Recreation run?
Four a year: the Rabbit Race in April, the Firecracker in July, the Banana Run in August and the Turkey Trot in November. All four are listed above with their dates.
Where do the races start?
All four races start at Latrobe Memorial Stadium, and race day registration is at the stadium as well.
Why can I not register for a race yet?
Each race above shows its own status. Registration open means you can sign up now, save the date means the race is coming but registration has not opened, and a race that has been held will open again for next year.
Can I walk instead of run?
Yes. Every race is a run and walk, and walkers start a couple of minutes after the runners. Strollers line up at the rear.
