Legion Keener Park is a 52-acre community park. It has a 3-mile fitness trail for walking, jogging, rollerblading and biking. Sports abound, it has softball fields, baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, sand and grass volleyball courts, a huge wooden playground and a handball court – all right near Latrobe Memorial Stadium.

The parks above are grouped into the two tiers the department uses. The community parks are Cardinal Park, Lakeside Park and Legion-Keener Park, which are the larger sites. The neighborhood parks are Creekside, First Ward Park, Hillside Park, Marguerite Park, Memorial Rec Area, Pleasant Unity Park and Third Ward Park.
